Students, Staff, and Alumni of UC Berkeley can sign-up for the Bear's Lair Cub Card! This discount card will get your 15% off all purchases at the Bear's Lair, and will earn you points toward great prizes and offers. Not only that, but as a student, you can designate a campus group that will receive 5% of everything you spend at the Bear's Lair.

15% OFF BEER & BEVERAGES! Think about it! 15% off makes that $3.25 pint only $2.75! That's a 50-cent discount per pint! Pitchers can get as low as $5.10 with the card during happy hours. No place around Telegraph can beat that! And remember, that's for high quality, "high gravity" beers : not the cheap stuff. Sure, you might get 3.2% industrial swill for a little less somewhere : but you'll definitely get more bang for your buck at the Bear's Lair!

15% OFF FOOD! Our Pizza menu is 15% off too, with the Cub Card! With the 15% off the already low Bear's Lair prices, our pizza menu is the best deal around for a quality pie! Average cost for a 18" pie is only $13 bucks and change!. Lunchtime slices only run you around $1.70 or so, depending on toppings. What a deal!

5% FOR YOUR GROUP! If you're a student you can designate a registered campus group to receive 5% of all you spend at the Bear's Lair. Your fraternity, your student group or club, your team, etc. It is a great way to earn money for your organization, without having to do a thing! (Other than enjoy Bear's Lair food and beverages!) POINTS FOR STUFF! The Bear's Lair is rolling out a new "points for purchases" plan. For every dollar you spend at the Pub, you'll now accumulate points. These points will be redeemable for products and merchandise at the Bear's Lair. Look for more information in the Cub Card Newsletter.

WEEKLY NEWSLETTER With your Club Card, you'll receive the "Cub Reporter" the Bear's Lair weekly e-mail newsletter. This HTML format newsletter has lots of great information about what's happening at the Pub, plus photos of recent events. See the News page on this website for an example.

WEEKLY RAFFLE WINNER! Each week a Cub Card member is selected to win a prize from the Bear's Lair. Past prizes have included: Bear's Lair T-shirts, Gift Certificates to local businesses, Pub Parties, Mug Club memberships, etc. Just be sure and read your newsletter each week to see if you have won!

COST FOR THE CARD? Nada, nothing, zip, zilch...for now. Most "club cards" you have to purchase up front, to get great everyday discounts. The Bear's Lair Cub Card is free, as we build up the program in its inaugural year. Be sure and get one ASAP, because once the total amount of free ones are taken, we'll have to start charging for them.
