Each week the Bear's Lair has a variety of music, sports, and special events. The best way to find out what's happening is to become an e-mail newsletter member. 21ER PARTIES : Throw a 21er party for yourself or one of your friends! The Birthday boy or girl will receive a Bear's Lair T-shirt, get a fill up of the traditional 60 oz. "Bear's Lair Birthday Stein", and a free disposable camera to record it all with. Most partiers start at The Lair, to enjoy their "Birthday beer", while having the Pub crowd "sign" and write best wishes on their complimentary T-shirt -- as they work their way around the Pub with their friends. Then, it's off on a Pub Crawl of Telegraph Avenue.

CELEBRITY BARTENDERS : Are you part of a sports team or student group? You and your teammates or group may be selected to be one of the Bear's Lair's weekly "Celebrity" bartenders. Let us know you're interested! Slots are filling up for this Semester!

GUEST BARTENDER PARTY : Not in a group or on a team? That's OK, you can still get behind "the plank" and pour some beer and beverages for your friends, at The Bear's Lair. Guest Bartender Parties are where you can hang out behind the bar and serve up beer and beverages to your friends. After awhile you can "knock off", or put a buddy behind the bar to relieve you. It's a lot of fun! Nobody else does this but the Bear's Lair.

YARD PARTIES : Ever enjoyed a "Yard" of beer? The Bear's Lair has a supply of these great drinking glasses available. Lots of people use our Yards to celebrate an important event in their lives, or academic career. So, come in with friends and have a Yard or two to celebrate something, or just for fun! To make sure that there are Yard Glasses available when you need'm, call ahead and reserve some.

 

PRIVATE PARTIES : Ready to have a party with your friends or coworkers? The Bear's Lair is a great place to hold your event! Different areas of the Pub can be reserved, or the whole Pub can be booked (for certain dates). Parties can be set up almost any way you might want it. Drinks only, drinks and food, no host, you name it!
