The Bear's Lair will be GoldenBearsville this week, as the Campus Community rears up and roars for the 105th Big Game! This is our year, baby! We're gonna take the Axe back! So, come hang out at The Pub, and pre-game all week, to get ready for this great event! Don't miss.... CAL vs. STANFORD! Saturday, 12:30 pm. Here it is, the last game of the season. the chance to have the first winning season since 1993, and the Big Game! You can't miss it! "LAUGH YOUR AXE OFF" COMEDY NIGHT, Wednesday, 8 pm, in the Big Room. Stand-Ups make fun of Stanfurd, and more! STA TRAVEL'S "BREAKAWAY FROM THE WINTER BLUES" EVENT. Thursday, from 6 - 8 pm, in The Lair. Win a four day New Years Kontiki tour of NYC. Plus, travel info, giveaways, and more! CAL ATHLETICS FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT!, Friday 9 pm (following the Bonfire at the Greek). Prizes, giveaways, great music -- and Pitchers for only $8 ($6.80 with your Cub Card!). The word from Calbears.com on this week's game; "Cal concludes the 2002 regular season with the 105th renewal of the Big Game, hosting Stanford Saturday afternoon at 12:30 in Berkeley's Memorial Stadium. At 6-5 overall, the Bears not only have an opportunity to post their first winning record since 1993, but they would do so by capturing the Axe for the first time in eight years."
